The GlueBook Edition is your cozy, snip-friendly play kit designed to help you get back into crafting with zero pressure and maximum fun.
When I dreamed up The Crafty Girl PlayKit, I wanted it to feel like opening a box of childhood magic, the kind of simple, joyful creating we used to do just for the fun of it. No inner voices demanding perfection, no pressure on ourselves to produce Instagram worthy pages. Just you and a simple way of making some magic with your hands. That’s always been the spirit behind these kits: a project tied to the feeling of the season’s story, totally inspiring, and totally makeable.
This season’s kit is inspired by a longtime favorite of mine: the gluebook.
It’s messy in the best way. Part collage journal, part visual diary, part time capsule of whatever catches your eye – it’s the craft project of our junior high school days! The Gluebook Edition PlayKit is packed with tons of vintage-style ephemera, snippable quotes, hand-drawn word elements, and page prompts (lots of page prompts!), all designed to help you transform a humble notebook into an inviting paper playground.
This is the kind of crafting that invites imperfection. A little glue, a little snip, and you’re off. And when you use a simple notebook, you aren’t worried about “ruining” your project. The cheaper the better!

THE PLAYKIT GUIDE
This season’s kit includes simple inspiration for putting together a gluebook using a simple notebook like a composition book.
HOW TO USE THE KIT
The printable elements can be printed on matte sticker paper, clear sticker paper and/or photo paper (it makes images crisper than cardstock but if you have cardstock, use that!) The collage and word elements can also be used in any paper crafting projects including memory keeping, art journaling, pocket pages, or Listers Gotta List.

️PRINTING TIPS
Files are organized in folders labeled with suggested paper type for printing. In addition, when you open each file it is labeled at the top with the paper type I recommend.
We recommend the following paper for best results:
32lb paper (this is the gold standard of paper and is buttery smooth)
Matte sticker paper (we use this brand in our sticker business)
Clear sticker paper (this is nice to have but not a must. Layering clear stickers is delicious and is perfect for florals)
Photo paper (the infamous $5 photo paper I use for embellishments, journal cards)
Bright White Cardstock (if you prefer cardstock over photo paper for journal cards this is it)
